YUCATAN HOUSE
This villa designed by the internationally renowned architect Isay Weinfeld consists of seven sections of varying sizes, each made from different materials such as precast concrete, aluminium and brick. A long natural pool extends into the garden just outside the dining room and includes a system that allows the treatment and reuse of the water. The owners, passionate contemporary art collectors, wanted a spacious, light, comfortable house in which they could display their artworks while feeling at ease in the surroundings. To respond to these wishes, the architect chose an Antefocus contemporary fireplace for the living room – a perfect fit for the informal yet stylish setting.
